the r&s^®smw-k47 option generates signals for 1xev-do (rev. a) in line with the 3gpp2 c.s0024-a 3.0 standard. 1xev-do stands for cdma2000^® 1x evolution data only mode and is an enhanced version of the 1x mode of cdma2000^®, the north american standard for the third mobile radio generation (3g). this enhanced version of the cdma2000^® standard allows packet-oriented data transmission at a data rate of up to 2.4 mbps in the 1.25 mhz-wide cdma2000^® 1x channel.
