gsm/edge signal can be generated in real-time, whereas the type of modulation can be changed from slot to slot. in addition 8 different power levels can be defined for the timeslots.
three modes are available for the generation of the signal:
- unframed: generation of a signal without slot and frame structure and power ramping, with symbol rate and filtering to gsm standard. msk or 8psk edge modulation can be selected
- framed (single): configuration of a signal via frame structure
- framed (double): configuration of simple multiframes scenarios by combining two frames. a repetition factor can be specified for each of the two frames
all necessary burst types (e.g. normal (full and half rate), edge, synchronization, access) are supported.
