this position focus on lte/5gnr physical layer development, integration and testing on r&s signal generators.

your tasks

the challenging engineering daily work covers the following tasks.
working in an international development team on the baseband generation of 4g and 5g wireless communications standards
cooperation with our international customers on testing the latest mobile radio technologies
analyzing customer requirements and specifications with deriving the product features for signal generators
defining software interfaces between internal modules and preparing the implementation of physical and transport layers
analyzing and resolving issues during development, verification and integration

our colleagues provide insider information about:

m.a. / m.s. in electrical engineering with emphasis on communications engineering or comparable field
a minimum of 3 years of relevant development experience
initial experience in 4g or 5g wireless communications standards, knowledge of 36.21x and 38.21x is preferred
programming and debugging skills in c/c (microsoft visual studio), knowledge of c 11 is an added value
knowledge of linux tools and scripting language python is plus
strong problem-solving skills combined with a self-directed approach to work
good command of written and spoken english
ability to travel occasionally to chinese and european locations
